Rigid Steel Frame
The heavy duty ladder frame chassis is built on single-piece steel rails that are lengthened to accommodate an extra drive axle. Extra bracing and crossmembers provide exceptional torsional rigidity to resist chassis twist under load.

T-Lock™ Remote Locking Differentials
Traxxas scores another RC first with three transmitter-operated locking differentials. Leave the differentials unlocked to take advantage of the TRX-6’s tight turning radius, even with 6-wheel drive and the long wheelbase. Lock just the front differential or lock all three differentials for extreme 6-wheel-drive traction. Sleeved micro cables control the differential action for scale appearance.
High/Low Range Transmission
When the going gets tough, shift into low range and all six wheels dig in for incredible torque. Shift into high range and the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 transforms the desert floor into an off-road racetrack with massive roosts and 6-wheel power slides.
The Power Of Portals
Portal axles lift the truck at the wheels for huge center pumpkin ground clearance. In order to achieve the same clearance with straight axles, your tires would have to be over an inch taller than the tires on the TRX-6.
Torque Twist Eliminated
The portal axles use gear reduction at the wheels to virtually eliminate torque twist. The Titan 550 motor’s torque translates into straight, powerful, forward motion, rather than wasted energy twisting your rig right off the rocks.
GTS Aluminum Shocks
Six oil-filled coil-over GTS shocks deliver silky-smooth damping with threaded aluminum shock bodies for easy ride height adjustments. Specially calibrated rear springs allow full articulation of both rear axles independently for optimal traction on uneven surfaces.
3s Power System
The XL-5™ HV electronic speed control brings 3s LiPo capability for strong efficient running. The powerful 21T Titan® motor provides torque to tackle the steepest climbs and all-out speed on flat terrain. This efficient system provides up to 2 hours of run time with a Traxxas 3s 5000 mAh LiPo battery pack!
TQi™ Radio System With Cruise Control

Dual-Fit Battery Tray
TRX-6’s main battery tray accommodates a full-length LiPo for extended run times or smaller 1/16 scale Traxxas batteries. A hinged battery strap provides quick and secure battery mounting without pins to lose in the field. The innovative strap flips over to adjust for different height batteries. A secondary front-mounted battery tray accepts smaller 1/16 scale Traxxas batteries to position weight directly over the front axle for maximum climbing traction on technical climbs.

Floor Pans
Tough floor pans integrate with the wheel wells to enhance the scale appearance and keep debris out of the chassis. The bright chrome dual exhaust attaches firmly to the frame and blends with the floor pans for an extra touch of scale detail.

Aluminum Scale Shocks

These silver-anodized aluminum shocks deliver silky-smooth damping and feature threaded bodies for easy ride height adjustment. TRX-6’s radical portal axle design raises the driveshafts higher to improve axle geometry and reduce driveshaft angles. Higher driveshafts and suspension links pass over obstacles to avoid high-centering your truck and reduce overall grinding wear over rocks.

High Steering and Drag Links
The steering link and drag link attach high on the portal axles, raising them away from possible damage. This allows the TRX-6 to attack obstacles head on, reducing the risk of hitting the steering linkage on rocks.

With the front differential unlocked, the superior 45° steering angle negotiates around even the tightest bends with ease. This helps avoid awkward reversing maneuvers in tight spaces.
