With so many different weapons and attachments to unlock, choosing the right combination can be tricky. So, if you're looking for some of the best weapons to use in the Cold War Multiplayer, we have you covered with seven recommended loadouts that will have you dominating your opponents.

Before we get started, do keep in mind that the weapon progression can be very slow, so if you haven't unlocked the higher end attachments simply opt for one that is very similar in specs.

Assault Rifles

XM4

Built for speed and accuracy, the XM4 is one of the most powerful Assault Rifles in the game. While it may struggle a little at long range, the XM4's impressive firepower, speed, and accuracy make it something to be feared at medium and close-quarter encounters.

However, when using the 13.5" Reinforced Heavy barrel, you will notice a significant increase in the weapons long range capabilities, making it a very viable option for all encounters. Combined with the Field Agent Grip and the Airborne Elastic Wrap Handle, the XM4's recoil will be nearly non-existent.

During our experience, we found the XM4 thrived mostly on the maps of Cartel, Moscow, Armada, and Miami.

Krig 6

Next up we have the Krig 6, which simply put, oozes versatility and is arguably one of our favorite weapons to use. With impressive fire rate, damage, and accuracy, the Krig 6 excels at close, medium, and long-range combat.

Thriving on maps such as Armada, Crossroads, Cartel, Miami, and Satellite, we found the weapon to be balanced across all areas.

Featuring little to no recoil thanks to the Muzzle and Underbarrel attachments, don't be surprised if you find yourself topping the scoreboards with our Krig 6 loadout.

While it is completely personal preference and dependent on your play style, we found the Krig 6 pairs well with the Gallo SA12 as your secondary weapon.

AK-47

Submachine Guns

MP5

Thriving in medium to close-quarters, the MP5 is arguably the most overpowered weapon that is currently available in Cold War. With impressive speed, firepower, and accuracy, our All-Rounder loadout will help enhance its already powerful capabilities.

Don’t be fooled though, as while the MP5 may seemingly lack firepower when compared with other weapons in the AR category, it can still pack quite the punch.

During our experience, we found that the MP5 excelled on nearly every map, which includes the likes of Satellite, Miami, Moscow, Armada, and Cartel. It is also worth noting that the MP5 does have some noticeable Horizontal Recoil, but with the addition of the Field Agent Grip, we have noticed a quite a reduction.

Milano 821

Among one of the most powerful weapons in the game, the Milano 821 Submachine Gun dominates on the battlefield, as the well-balanced weapon features outstanding firepower, speed, and accuracy.

This Uzi inspired weapon is perfect for close quarters and when coupled with the right attachments, you will have one of the fastest killing weapons on your hands.

The Milano 821 thrives in tight situations, making it the perfect weapon for the likes of Moscow, Armada, Satellite, and Cartel.

Sniper Rifles

Pelington 703

Pelington 703 is by far our favorite to use. The fast-firing and highly accurate Sniper features moderately low recoil, making it not only very reliable but also the perfect quick scoping weapon due to its extremely quick ADS speed.

With the ability to take out multiple enemies in quick concession with its quick scoping and one-shot capabilities (anywhere above the waist), it’s hard not to be satisfied when using this Sniper Rifle.

We found the Pelington 703 to be highly effective on maps such as Satellite, Armada, Crossroads, and Miami.

Shotguns

Gallo SA12

When it comes to shotguns, we were surprised to find that the Gallo SA12 ended up being one of our favorite weapons to use, as there was nothing more satisfying than killing your opponents in a single pump.

While the Gallo SA12 thrives in short-range encounters, you would be surprised at just how far its range can actually reach, as enemies can easily be taken out much further than you would initially expect.

Unfortunately, the weapon’s biggest downfall is its lengthy reload speeds and while it’s definitely manageable, we could see this being an issue that some just can’t overlook.

With the correct Field Mic placements, the Gallo SA12 will dominate on the maps of Satellite and Moscow.

With limited range, pairing the Gallo SA12 with something like the M16, Pelington 703, or Krig 6 will really help create that range distance that this loadout desperately lacks.

Tactical Rifle

M16

If burst style rifles are your thing, the M16 may just be the weapon for you. Ideal for medium to long-range encounters when paired with the right scope, the M16 Tactical Rifle is highly accurate and can deal significant amounts of damage.

While burst style rifles aren’t exactly everyone's thing, the M16’s initial stats might just be enough to change your ways. With added attachments to reduce your recoil and increase your fire rate, we found the M16 to be a real force to be reckoned with when put into the right hands.

We found that the M16 to be a very versatile weapon due to its speed, accuracy and fire power, making it a great weapon for any of the current Cold War maps.
